There are a lot of ways to experience a Major League Baseball stadium. Waking up, opening your hotel curtains and looking directly onto a Major League field is pretty hard to beat.

Our EARNED MLB Stadium Tour began in Toronto at Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

And we didn't just visit the ballpark.

We stayed inside it.

We stayed at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, which is built directly into Rogers Centre. Our room overlooked the field, giving us an incredible behind-the-scenes view of the ballpark at almost any time of day.

Before the gates opened, we watched the stadium come to life: grounds crews preparing the field, players warming up, batting practice and all the activity most fans never get to see. Afterward, we could watch the stadium empty and the postgame work begin.

And during the game? We could watch Major League Baseball right from our hotel room.

Rogers Centre itself is one of baseball's most distinctive stadiums. Originally opening as SkyDome in 1989, it became famous for its massive retractable roof. When the roof is open, the neighboring CN Tower rises above the stadium, creating one of the most recognizable views in baseball.

Recent renovations have made Rogers Centre even better for baseball fans.

The Outfield District allows fans to move around the stadium and experience the game from different perspectives. Spaces like the Corona Rooftop Patio, TD Park Social and WestJet Flight Deck create gathering areas beyond traditional stadium seating.

Fans can also get incredibly close to the action around the outfield bullpens, watching Major League pitchers warm up from only feet away.

The renovated 100 Level was redesigned specifically for baseball, with improved sightlines, seats oriented toward the infield and fans brought closer to the field.

There's plenty of history here, too. Toronto won back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993, becoming the first MLB franchise outside the United States to win the World Series.

But what will we remember most?

Looking out our hotel window and seeing a Major League Baseball field below us.

For a couple of days, we weren't simply visiting a ballpark.

We were living inside one.

That's a pretty unforgettable way to start the EARNED MLB Stadium Tour.

Because baseball is more than what happens between the lines.
